Apollo 11
Documentary · 2019
A look at the Apollo 11 mission to land on the moon led by commander Neil Armstrong and pilot Buzz Aldrin.
The sides of Apollo 11
- Restored footage of the launch on the big screen
- Mission control voices with no narrator
- The crowds watching from the Florida beaches
Apollo 11 is good for you if…
- you want the actual mission, not a reconstruction.
- you want a Saturn V filling the screen and the sound.
- you like July 1969 shown as it happened, minute by minute.
Apollo 11 is bad for you if…
- you want people to follow, and this stays on the mission.
- you need momentum, and the film sits with checklists and countdowns.
