Korengal
Documentary · 2014
Korengal picks up where Restrepo left off; the same men, the same valley, the same commanders, but a very different look at the experience of war.
The sides of Korengal
- US soldiers at an outpost in Afghanistan
- The same men and valley as Restrepo
- Soldiers talking about what war did to them
Korengal is good for you if…
- you want to know what combat feels like to the men who fought it.
- you want real soldiers, not actors.
- you like hearing young men speak honestly about fear and brotherhood.
Korengal is bad for you if…
- you can't watch real firefights.
- you'd rather not face real loss and trauma on screen.
About: brotherhood · the cost of war · fear
