The Night Of is good for you if…
- you like hours spent on one night and all its paperwork.
- you like watching a case close slowly around someone.
- you watch for one performance. John Turturro's lawyer takes the case in sandals, scratching his eczema.
The Night Of is bad for you if…
- you need to know for certain who did it.
- you need a story to leave you some hope.
- you'd rather not watch prison, drugs and a family coming apart.
