The Sinner
Series · 2017
In a small New York town, a haunted detective hunts for answers about perplexing crimes while wrestling with his own demons.
The sides of The Sinner
- A young mother who stabs a stranger on a beach
- A detective who cannot leave a case alone
- A new crime each season
The Sinner is good for you if…
- you like a season that asks why, not who.
- you like an investigation that takes its time with one question.
- you like a detective whose own damage is half the story.
The Sinner is bad for you if…
- you can't spend a season with drug use, self-harm and a mother coming apart.
- you need a case to leave you with some hope.
- you want chases and arrests, not interviews in small rooms.
