Frozen Planet vi farà vivere la più emozionante spedizione polare. Questo serie in sette parti è un punto di riferimento e vi porta sullo schermo le due aree più remote e meno ospitali del pianeta: le zone ghiacciate dell'Artico e dell'Antartico. Eppure in questi ambienti dove le temperature raggiungono i meno 70 gradi Celsius e il sole non splende per metà dell'anno, fiorisce la vita. Grande attenzione viene data alla foche, ai pinguini ed agli orsi polari, ma c'è molto di più: dalle lumache ai bruchi della balenottere minori, alle balene, ai beluga ed ai narvali, dagli uccelli marini alla raccolta di merluzzo bianco da parte dei milioni della lupi ai bisonti ed ai caribù. il tutto con lo sfondo di panorami mozzafiato.
