Shōgun fa per te se…
- you like feudal Japan seen through a stranded English pilot.
- you like Toranaga quietly playing a council that wants him dead.
- you like a patient story where one look says more than a battle.
Shōgun non fa per te se…
- you can't watch beheadings and ritual suicide on screen.
- you won't read subtitles for much of the dialogue, which is in Japanese.
Temi: honor · duty · culture clash · ambition
