The sides of Groundhog Day
- A weatherman stuck in the same day
- An alarm clock at 6 a.m.
- Learning to be a better man
Groundhog Day is good for you if…
- you like Bill Murray's dry, bitter humour.
- you want a classic you'll rewatch every year.
- you like a love story earned the long way.
Groundhog Day is bad for you if…
- you need the logic to hold up. Nobody ever explains why Phil's day repeats.
- you can't laugh at suicide. Phil's attempts to escape the loop are played for comedy.
