Life è un documentario di dieci episodi realizzato dalla BBC, trasmesso nell'ambito della BBC's Darwin Season sulla BBC One e BBC HD da ottobre a dicembre 2009. La serie mostra una visione globale delle strategie specializzate ed estremi comportamento che gli esseri viventi hanno sviluppato per sopravvivere; ciò che Charles Darwin ha definito "la lotta per l'esistenza". Quattro anni di lavoro, la serie è stato girato interamente in alta definizione.
