Your Netflix history, read for what it says about you.

Netflix knows what you watched. Ipsomap reads the same history, works out what you keep coming back to, and picks what to watch next — on Netflix or anywhere else.

What your history turns into

• Patterns you didn't notice

  Years of viewing show what you keep returning to — the series you binged, the films you picked on a whim — and the profile puts it into words.

• No ratings needed

  The history has no scores, and it doesn't need them: what you watched, and how much of it, is enough to start.

• Beyond one catalogue

  Picks come from your taste, across every service: some will be on Netflix, some elsewhere.

Export from Netflix

   On netflix.com in a browser, open Account, choose your profile, then Viewing activity — or go straight to netflix.com/viewingactivity.

   Scroll to the bottom and click “Download all”. You get NetflixViewingHistory.csv.

   Viewing activity is kept per profile. If more than one profile is yours, switch and download each.

What's in the file

Title

A film's name, or an episode written as “Show: Season 1: Episode”. Claude folds every episode into one entry per series.

Date

When you watched. Not needed: the titles are what count.

No ratings come across, because the file has none. Rate a handful in Ipsomap and your profile sharpens fast.

Then, in Ipsomap

   Create your account and open Settings → Import history.

   Drop NetflixViewingHistory.csv in — one file per profile, all at once if you have several.

   Skip anything a guest watched on your profile.

   Save. Your taste profile builds from everything you brought in, and you land on it.

Claude reads the file, so saving uses AI credits: 1 per 20 titles, a series counting once. The free plan's 50 monthly credits cover close to 1,000 titles, and nothing is charged until you save.

Questions

We share one Netflix account. Will their shows mix in?

Only if you import their profile. Viewing activity is per profile, so download yours alone — and on the review screen, skip anything that isn't yours.

I also watch on Prime Video, Disney+ or Max. Can those come in too?

Yes. Most services don't offer a file to download, but the import reads screenshots: capture your watch history or your “Continue watching” row and drop the images in with your Netflix file. You can also paste a list of titles from memory.
